What is an eportfolio?
An e-portfolio is an online portfolio containing all the course information. Basically it has three parts:
Evidence folder - the evidence store can contain files of any format - audio, video, office, etc - whatever suits the qualification delivery
Audit trail - a complete audit trail containing all planning, assessment feedback, reviews, etc
With an e-portfolio, you also have some clever tools at your disposal. For example:
Message Center - allowing the learner, assessor and verifier to be in constant communication
Task Wizard - allowing the automation of regular tasks
Reporting Suite - allows you to produce real time reports, which can be automatically generated and emailed
